
Bathtub
BASIC TASK

What you need:
- Microfibre cloths
- Sponges
- Multipurpose spray
- Jif
- Exit Mould - if mould present (toxic product: read the label before using)
- CLR - if calcium present (toxic product: read the label before using)
- Windex - if there is a glass screen
- Squeegee - if there is a glass screen
- Grout brush
- Gloves, face mask
IMPORTANT
If the surface is natural stone (granite, marble, cesar stone) use only hot water or hot water + soap (sugar soap, dishwashing liquid, Earth Choice). Don't use Jif, Methylated spirits or any other chemical on any of these surfaces. If you're not sure if it's natural stone or not, use only hot water + soap to be safe.
Cleaning process
- Wipe over the bathtub with a damp cloth to remove dust and hair
- Scrub the whole bathtub including tile and grout around with a wet sponge and Jif.
- Scrub grout, taps, plug and plug hole with a grout brush
- Clean taps and shower screen with a wet cloth and Jif (a sponge may scratch it)
- Spray Exit Mould on mould present in silicon, grout, around taps, plug and plug hole
- The plug is a part of the bath and needs to be cleaned too
- Apply CLR with a wet cloth on areas with calcium (tiles, shower screen)
- Leave CLR to react for 10 minutes
- Remove all chemicals with hot water, cloths, or sponges
- Clean shower screen with Windex and squeegee
- Wipe the bathtub inside and outside with a wet cloth
- Dry all surfaces with a dry cloth
- Don’t forget to vacuum under and behind the bathtub later
