Vacuuming

BASIC TASK

Vacuuming

What you need:
Vacuum cleaner

Cleaning process:
- Before vacuuming, remove temporarily light objects from floors
- Put chairs on tables
- If necessary, remove vacuum head to access narrow places:
- space between fridge and wall
- space between stove and cupboards
- space under heavy furniture (beds, sofas, chests of drawers)
- skirting boards
- room corners
- behind toilet
- under bathtub
- windowsills and tracks

- wardrobe tracks

Start vacuuming from areas that you won’t walk on again.
- Vacuum all accessible places, even if not visible
- Vacuum carefully cobwebs off walls, ceiling
- When cleaning carpets, vacuum in one direction to leave a neat pattern
- Only move items you can safely lift. If an item is too heavy to be lifted, do not drag or move it to avoid damages to the item or floors.
- Vacuum rugs, and under them

Important:
Clean your vacuum cleaner after every day of work (preferably after every house) to avoid cross-contamination between houses
Make sure your vacuum cleaner doesn’t have blocked pipes, rubbish stuck in its head
