Windows

What you need:
​- Microfibre cloths
- Sponges
- Squeegee
- Ladder
- Window washer
- Rectangle bucket
- Track brush
- Windex / Methylated Spirits

Cleaning process:
​
Exterior side:
​- Start outside. Remove all fly screens
- Lean fly screens onto the wall
- Check if all windows / sliding doors are closed
- Wash down all exterior windows, tracks, fly screens and cobwebs with a hose
- Pay attention to sliding door tracks – with the hose water remove all sand
- Turn off the hose tap
- Prepare a bucket with hot water
- Add some Methylated Spirits to the water
- Spray window surface with Windex
- Scrub window surface with window washer
- Scrub carefully any dirt with a sponge if necessary
- Squeegee down the water from top to bottom
- After every top-to-bottom movement, dry the squeegee with a dry cloth
- Repeat this for the whole window surface
- Dry window corners with a dry cloth
- Repeat the process for all windows outside.
- Change the water in the bucket from time to time.
- Install back the fly screens when they are dry

Interior side:
​- Loosen dirt inside the window tracks with a track brush
- Vacuum the dirt with a pipe of the vacuum cleaner
- Remove remaining dirt with a damp cloth
- Wash windows with a window washer
- Squeegee down the water and dry the corners
- Check if you see any dry water streaks inside and outside
- Remove streaks by spraying a little bit of Windex and wiping quickly with a dry cloth
