General Checklist (Basic tasks):

All items on this list must be completed unless there is a note in the job stating otherwise. If you don't have enough time to complete all tasks, you must contact the office immediately. This list should never be shown to the clients.

A) Kitchen

1) Clean drawers and cupboards outside

2) Wipe and scrub all benchtops / surface areas

3) Clean microwave (inside and outside),

4) Clean dishwasher (outside)

5) Clean fridge (outside)

6) Clean oven glass outside

7) Clean stove and range hood (outside)

8) Clean sink, plugs and taps

9) Dust all shelves, windowsills, and other surfaces after removing all items

10) Wipe items, kitchen appliances, and organise them

11) Wash dishes / place dishes in the dishwasher

12) Empty and wipe bins

B) Bathroom, toilet, laundry

1) Clean sink / basin

2) Clean bath

3) Clean shower (scrub tiles and grout)

4) Clean and polish taps, all metal fittings and soap holders

5) Clean toilet inside and outside

6) Clean tiles around the toilet if dirty

7) Remove mould if present

8) Clean surface areas

9) Clean mirrors

10) Clean towel rails

11) Clean washing machine and dryer (outside)

12) Dust and wipe all shelves and other surfaces after removing all items

13) Wipe items and organise them including towels

14) Empty and wipe bins

C) Bedrooms, living room, common areas

1) Make beds are included in every appointment (change bedsheets only if required)

2) Organise cushions and covers on sofas

3) Dust and wipe all surface areas (side tables etc)

4) Clean mirrors (or a quick clean of fingerprints)

5) Tidy easily accessible items

6) Wipe tables (coffee tables, side tables and dinning tables)

7) Empty and wipe bins

D) General

1) Vacuum and mop all floors. Use vacuum pipe to clean in less accessible places.

2) Clean light switches and power points (where dirty)

3) Clean windowsills

4) Dust and wipe skirting boards if time allows (on a rotation basis)

5) Remove cobwebs inside the house

IMPORTANT

After you finish:

​

1) Turn off lights

2) Turn off aircon / heating

3) Check gas/oven etc

4) Turn off water (including hose)

5) Check if all doors are locked (including laundry door)

6) Leave the key in the same spot you found it unless instructed otherwise by the client

Extra tasks for spare time Checklist:

If you finish basic tasks earlier, start working on extra tasks making sure the booked hours are completed in full

A) Kitchen

1) Clean drawers and cupboards inside – extra 1-2 hours

2) Clean dishwasher (inside) – extra 15 mins

3) Clean fridge (inside) – extra 1 hour

4) Clean range hood filters – extra 15 mins

5) Remove all items from the pantry and clean all shelves – extra 1 hour

6) Clean kitchen walls – extra 15-30 mins

7) Clean blinds – extra 30 mins (each)

 

B) Bathroom, toilet, laundry

1) Clean drawers inside – extra 15-30 mins

2) Clean bathroom walls – extra 15-30 mins

3) Clean blinds – extra 30 mins (each)

 

C) Bedrooms, living room, common areas

1) Clean walls – extra 1 – 3 hours

2) Clean blinds – extra 1 – 2 hours

3) Fold clothes

 

D) General

1) Clean some glass doors or easily accessible windows inside

2) Wipe skirting boards
