Products and equipment:
Before your first job, please make sure you have all the products and equipment listed below.
The images are examples only. You can buy any brand, as long as it is the same type of product.
You'll need:
Equipment
- 1 vacuum cleaner (corded, battery vacuums are not accepted): ~$70
- 1 mop (regular mop and bucket, or flat spray mop): ~$20
- 2 or more buckets: ~$8
- Microfibre cloths (60 or more): ~$40
- Good quality squeegee: ~$20
- Non-scratch sponges: ~$5

- Neutral dishwashing liquid: ~$3
- Multi-purpose spray: ~$4
- Glass cleaner: ~$4
- Toilet gel: ~$3
- Floor cleaner for tiles: ~$5
- Floor cleaner for wooden floors: ~$8
- CLR (removes calcium build-up from shower glass): ~$10
- Cream cleaner or paste cleaner: ~$4
- Mould killer: ~$6

Note: Some of your cleaning products need to be eco-friendly. You can use only eco-friendly products if you prefer. If you choose regular products, you must also have eco-friendly options with you.

Eco Friendly Cleaning Products
When checking the jobs in ZenMaid App, please check if the client is requiring eco friendly products. We recommend the brand Earth Choice as it is affordable and they work well.
It is mandatory to have eco friendly products on your kit, many clients ask us to use it.
Tips for Buying a Vacuum Cleaner:
- Bagless and corded. No stick or battery-only vacuums (we won't accept these).
- Two heads: one for hard floors and one for carpets (ideally with a spinning brush).
- Second-hand is fine: check the suction is strong and the power lead is in good condition.
- Suggested brands: Pacvac, Volta, Miele, Janitor, Ozito (other brands are fine too).
- Where to buy: Bunnings, Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, FB Marketplace.
